We are Mohsin Films, founded by producer and filmmaker Karim Mrabti. We focus on telling stories that engage with the social, cultural and political realities of the Global South, particularly Africa and South-West Asia. We collaborate with emerging and established filmmakers from these regions and its diaspora. Our first independent production, Last Shot, directed by Parham Rahimzadeh will have it’s world premiere at İnternational Film Festival Rotterdam 2026 as part of the Tiger Short Competition. We are currently developing several films with directors & writers from Europe, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, Mauritania & Cabo Verde and we are very excited to expand our future slate. 

We aim to produce films with strong authorial voices, international potential and universal emotional resonance. 

We try to be aware of what we develop and produce, guided by a sense of inevitability & urgency rather than opportunity. We see ourselves as a vehicle for stories that find us and are meant to be told through us.
